There are 50 lectors in the parish. The number seems to be growing. This includes the Konkani Group also. Lectors have undergone a training session for voice modulation and proclamation of the Word. It has made a big difference to the team. There is a monthly Roster whereby appointments are made.

Cantors are those who sing on week days for mass. They sing the main parts of the mass like the Entrance hymn, Lord have Mercy, Hymn during Communion and the Recessional hymn. They are supposed to contact the main celebrant atleast 15 minutes before each mass. The 1st pew is reserved for the cantors. They are supposed to be attentive to the priest when he is celebrating the mass so as to sing the hymns accordingly.
The Entrance, Communion n Recessional hymns are written by the Cantors. They are chosen to write these hymns in turn every month.
