Ushers

The ushers in our parish are like uniformed guards in authority. A church usher helps ensure that church services run smoothly. Ushers generally manage crowds during services and help maintain discipline and order.

During Sunday services, they collect the offerings and ensure that they are placed in the proper location. Ushers aim to minimise distractions during Mass and the sermon.

They are ready to assist anyone in the congregation who needs help, help latecomers find a seat, and inform those in the church of any urgent matters. In an emergency, ushers take the lead in guiding people to safety in an orderly manner.

Our ushers at Good Shepherd possess qualities of love, joyfulness, peace, patience, faithfulness, kindness and self-control.
