Privacy Policy
How Good Shepherd Church handles personal information and parish photography.
Last updated: 12 August 2026
Good Shepherd Church, Andheri (“the Parish”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled through this website and our parish communications.
Information we may receive
- Information you send voluntarily by email, telephone or when contacting the parish about sacraments, ministries, donations or pastoral care.
- Basic technical information recorded by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, date and time, for security and reliable operation.
- An anonymous total-visitor count. The counter uses session storage only to avoid counting the same browser repeatedly during one session.
How we use information
We use information only for parish administration, responding to requests, arranging sacramental or pastoral services, maintaining records where required, protecting the website and communicating parish news. We do not sell personal information.
Photographs and recordings at parish events
Masses, feasts and parish activities may be photographed or recorded for documentary, pastoral and community-communication purposes. Images may appear on the Parish website, social-media pages, newsletters or notice materials.
Where practical, photography notices will be displayed or announced. Anyone who does not wish to be photographed should inform the photographer or parish office. If an identifiable image has been published and you would like it reviewed or removed, email us with the page or post details. We will consider and act on reasonable requests.
Extra care is taken with children and vulnerable persons. Parents or lawful guardians should notify the Parish of any restrictions. Close-up, named or promotional use involving a child should be supported by appropriate parent or guardian permission.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be handled by authorised parish personnel and trusted service providers supporting hosting, email, maps or website delivery. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect a person’s safety.
Third-party services
The website uses third-party services such as Google Maps, Google Fonts, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS and social-media links. These providers may receive technical data under their own privacy policies when their content is loaded or a link is opened.
Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably required for the relevant parish, administrative, safeguarding or legal purpose. Reasonable organisational and technical safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information you have supplied, withdraw consent where applicable, or request review of a published photograph. Some records may need to be retained for canonical, safeguarding, administrative or legal reasons.
Children
Children should not send personal information through this website without the involvement of a parent or lawful guardian.

For privacy questions or photography requests, email goodshepherdchurch13@gmail.com or contact the parish office at +91 98331 50405.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as parish practices, services or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with its revision date.
